What Customer Support Means To Us

Support is something we all need on a daily basis, whether it comes from friends and loved ones - or in our case, support from four women you have never met, but whom are happy to link arms with you and provide.
Working for Helpr on the customer support team means that we have the pleasure of meeting families’ needs where they need to be met and be part of a company that truly views access to quality childcare as a right for all. We come from various backgrounds, but all share experience in motherhood and childcare. I’m so happy to introduce you to us!
Meet the team.
Astrid Swan, Customer Support Manager
I’m a mother of two and my favorite thing to do with my kids is play Hide and Seek - they are easy to find because they laugh too much! I’ve worked in Customer Support/Management since 2005 and I’m a people pleaser to my core. The slam-dunk feeling of getting a sitter to a parent in a bind makes me so happy. I love that our helprs are here because they share our goal of disrupting the childcare industry with compassion and trust.
Jennifer Dixon, Customer Support
Jennifer was drawn to Helpr because she strongly believes in childcare as a benefit, and her favorite part of Helpr is our dedication to a stringent screening process. She says, “It is important to me to know that every sitter we send out to your family is one we would trust with our own. I'm so happy to be part of a team that shares that mindset!” Jenn is a mom of four, welcoming her youngest in June 2019. She has worked with children in many settings, including as an assistant teacher, and a 4H leader!
Savannah Lickteig, Customer Support
Savannah came to Helpr with five years of nanny experience, and in that time saw the impact that gaps in childcare have on working moms. She loves that Helpr partners with employers to provide low-cost childcare, as well as community for parents. She says “This also strengthens womens’ position in the workplace, since they do not have to choose between motherhood and their careers - they get to have both!”
Suel Gadon, Customer Support
Suel is our newest addition, and a mom of three. She has also worked for the last eight years as a Sunday School teacher. As a parent, she appreciates working for Helpr because “I know how important it is to have trustworthy, responsible, caring and fun people to watch my kids. With Helpr I know with confidence that every parent can have that and more.” Suel is bilingual, speaking English and Tagalog.
